How to Order

Large Parties

  • For weddings and large parties, please place your order at least 3 months in advance;
  • We require an estimated 50% of your full balance as a retainer to hold the date when you place your order;
  • This retainer is due 7 days within placing your order or the requested date will be released to other clients;
  • This retainer is non-refundable;
  • Full balance is due 21 days prior to the start date of your event;
  • If you book an event less than 30 days in advance, full payment is due at the time that you place your order;
  • Cancellations received 14 days or less prior to the event will result in a 50% charge of the balance;


  • Tastings are available for up to 2 adults Wednesday through Friday only by appointment;
  • Cake/dessert samples can be created and require at least three weeks’ lead time;
  • The fee for a tasting is $40.00 for 3 cake flavors or 6 dessert items and must be reserved on a credit card;
  • A 48-hour cancellation notice is required or you will be charged for the tasting;

General Prices

  • All our cakes and pastries are custom created and prices vary depending on the flavors and complexity of design;
  • We offer a variety of cake flavors, fillings, and frostings including buttercream and rolled fondant;
  • We also create cupcakes and miniature cupcakes;
  • Cupcakes start at approximately $2.35; miniature cupcakes start at $1.35;

The following are a few of our cake flavors, frostings and fillings:

CAKES: White, Chocolate, Banana, Lemon, Red Velvet, Coconut, Carrot, Spice, Strawberry
FROSTINGS: White, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Cream Cheese
FILLINGS: Chocolate Mousse, Coconut Haupia, Guava, Lilikoi, Lemon, Raspberry, Strawberry

Rental Prices

  • Rental prices for tiered cake and dessert stands start at $45.00 per unit; A $250.00 security deposit per unit is required;
  • Caterer will refund the deposit if all equipment is returned in original condition to Caterer by the end of the next business operating day (e.g. If Client’s event is on a Saturday, return day is Tuesday); or within 48 hours upon completion of Client’s event;
  • If equipment is damaged or not returned by the designated date, Client forfeits the deposit;


  • Delivery is available; Delivery price includes set-up; Delivery rates vary by location;
  • Sugar Rush by Frances does not guarantee the safety of any cakes or desserts that we do not deliver;
  • We accept payment by cash, check, VISA or MASTERCARD;
  • All prices include tax; All prices subject to change
